Do you mean that you did the 'Load images' in the Permissions tab   ? And now you don't get a message on that website,   but still reCAPTCHA does not appear   ?

Did you check the Web Console, like cor-el asked you to  ?

Go to Windows' Control Panel => All Programs, click on 'Java' and you'll see a Java icon on your taskbar - click on it and the Java Control Panel will appear.

Note that Java has nothing to do with recaptcha. Recaptcha in done completely via JavaScript. If you do not see these images challenges then this is blocked by an extension or by some other Firefox setting that got corrupted or other (security) is interfering.

You can create a new profile to test if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.
