New Tab Function Hijacked: New Tab Opens "search utilities" Searchbar Page
Note*: Opening a New Tab only causes this, using Home page button still works normally
I've already tried basic solutions by going into Options:
-Putting desired page into Home Page -Restoring to Default -Using Bookmark button -Dragging desired page into home page button
Cause: Advanced System Care sister software - which I want to keep, so uninstalling this to solve the problem is not an option.
Hijacked Redirecting URL (it's a yahoo search engine): search.searchutilities.co?uid=2b500422-6af0-434f-aaaf-fd0501827c5a&uc=20170629&ap=appfocus183&source=en-dbpage-bb8&page=newtab&implementation_id=brandedtab_4.0.13

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> A)
In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Remove “ search utilities “ Anything. Also look for SafeSearch or SearchAssist Incognito.
Now do the same in the computer’s Programs Folder.
Windows: Start > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. Mac: Open the Applications folder. Linux: Check your user manual.
With Firefox 41 (and higher), it's no longer possible to customize the page shown in a new tab via changing the preference browser.newtab.url in about:config. Because of the fact that hijackers abused the preference in the past, Mozilla decided to remove it (see bug 1118285). Fortunately, by removing it, Mozilla also introduced a new API to bring this functionality back to life as an add-on. This add-on allows the user to choose a certain page in a new tab.

This is also available using Classic Theme Restorer (Customize Australis) {web link} Restore squared tabs, appmenu, add-ons bar, small button view and more on Australis UI (Windows/MacOSX/Linux + Fx 29+).

i have performed all of this and my screen clicks are still being hijacked by weevah and others. i've attached an example. i was shopping at Sears.com and clicked on a link to print my transaction and the screen was hijacked first by weevah and then to resulting screen in the attachment. as this does not happen with other browsers i may abandon firefox and move on to other browsers. can you fix this?

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
