Firefox hangs up several times randomly each day. Just says waiting for whatever site and I lose internet access. Occasionally I get an exception breakpoint error message. I have researched everywhere looking for a fix and tried every suggestion but still happens. I have to reboot the computer to get internet access back. Very very frustrating.

Next time this happens;

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

When it happened again I tried to get into Firefox by safe mode as directed but it did not work. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Next time, use Win IE right away. If it is blocked also, then it could mean the problem is with your modem or ISP.
