Basically, I have been one year working in my new job and sometimes I need to use multiple browsers and I do copy and paste a lot.

Every time I copy and paste from and to Firefox, I have a problem. Since I am using multiple browsers, I can tell this is definitely only a Firefox issue.

Don't tell me to delete cookies and history or some such, I am quite technical and think this is basically a glitch in Firefox. I have been updating the software as I get POP-ups and tried to refresh also. This has been happening for a year now and with the new responsibilities I need Firefox, unless I get a permission to download Safari, as I am starting to be annoyed and cannot use Chrome or Opera due to Silverlight...

Thanks for your help

Hi   !
Totally understand that you're starting to be annoyed.
It's a stab in the dark, but would you do this:
Type in the address bar   about:config (promise to be careful) Type   clip  and wait for the list to filter Search for the preference named: dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled should it's value be set to   'false';   then double-click it and set it's value to   true
