cant load or play videos, unless i click help then restart with add-ons enabled or even disabled . Same thing in safe mode. When i close forefox and open it again it will not play videos that it did when i did the steps above.

Ok i got the videos to load by turning off some of the add-ons, but now the arrow does not show to play video if i click on video my vlc player comes up and asks if i want to play it or save it even thou i have the vlc web plugin to never activate.

Ok the only way the videos work right are in safe mode, with or without add-ons disabled.

Type about:preferences#advanced<Enter> in the address bar. Under Advanced, Select General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open the Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac=<Command>) <Shift> A)

On the left side of the page, select Appearance. Then select Default.

Now restart Firefox.

Thank you for your reply but i have tried that with no luck.

I got the video to load outside of safe mode, if i put never activate on shockwave flash and vlc web plug-in.

but the video still does not have the arrow to play it, just when i click on the video the vlc player comes up and asks to save or play.

if i activate just shockwave flash then restart firefox the vlc web plug-in will activate by itself and video wont load.
