The focus issue allegedly fixed in 45.1.1 (select a message and focus changes to the message body) seems to be back in 45.3.0

I normally work in the message list and scan mails and delete, but now the focus is jumping to the body and I'm having to use the mouse a lot more.

W10, its not the wallpaper change thing.

Seems to have been a problem in 45.1.0 and fixed in 45.1.1, but its back.

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

I have no issue with the daily build I am using. So I suggest you try the following;

  • Restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled". If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.

Well, old behaviour is back and stays back after I removed Lightning, which I believe I never chose to add anyway and never used.

Good tip, thanks

That's because Lightning ships with Thunderbird.

Version 45.4.0 is available. You might update to that, but I doubt it will help. What happens if you run Thunderbird in safe mode for an extended period?
