Greetings:

Com specs: i7-4970 cpu 32gb mem

I have about 20gb of messages I search through on a daily basis. When I start Tb and at random times during the day Tb gets really slow. I've already compacted and I've tried a couple other things from the forum.

Would increasing Tb memory allocation help? -- If so, how?

Thanks so much.

I think you may find creating an exception in your anti virus program for daily scans might improve performance more than anything else, or create an exception of on access scanning.

A/V takes around 10 minutes per GB to scan. Given your updating large files when you receive mail, and any filter that move in upon receipt update two large files, it is quite probable that your anti virus is falling over it's own feet.
