How to set up calendar sharing for team who uses Lightning?
We need to see free/busy time across the team when scheduling appointments. We all use thunderbird with Lightning plug-in.

What calendar server do you use? I suggest Google, Yahoo or GMX as free providers. Apples me.com will work with effort and Hotmail is useless. Microsoft proprietary only
We don't have a calendar server yet.
With no calendar server, there is no way to "advertise" busy/Free to other users.
OK. I got that. Then the question is do you know how to set this up using gmx, lightning and thunderbird?
- Create an account on gmx.
- Add the calendar to Lightning: https://help.gmx.com/en/organizer/desktop.html#synchronizing-thunderbird
OK... did that.
Thank you very much.
Now I can make events both in gmx to see and change in thunderbird and vice versa.
When I make an appointment by default e-mail making the appointment is a new e-mail I had to create for gmx account and for this email I can see free/busy status. Same for a colleague of mine who also made a new e-mail account for gmx.
Is there a way to send invites with my original mail (not a gmx one) and see free/busy when I make appointments?
