Not in safe mode but remember passwords is grayed out
Hi,
I'm using a corporate packaged firefox and the option is not clickable. Is there a way to activate it again in about:config ?
I am sure i'm not in safe mode and I keep my history
thank you,

hi contrevents, your it department might also lock certain preferences according to their policies. you could check that when you enter about:config into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named signon.rememberSignons. if that preference is displayed in italics and it's indicated that it is locked this is the case. there might be no way around that in this case for you as a normal user - please get in contact with your it department to discuss the issue...

Thanks a lot, that is the case. The signon.rememberSignons is locked.
I hate to type my password 100 times a day... I hate even more to type my login information everytime...
But hey, at least they now let me use FF (we were stuck with IE9 not a long time ago...)
FYI, they use a module named "GPO For Firefox" to deploy the preferences on every computer.
