Automatic CC to myself
Dear all, I prefer always to have a copy sent back to myself. Especially because I use multiple devices to send and receive mail. I then can reread my messages. In Netscape and in Apple Mail this is possible. Also Reply all now filters out the sender, even when I was in the To or CC list. Please consider to enable this feature.

Are you using POP or IMAP? IMAP would probably meet your needs best, and you wouldn't need to CC yourself.
Quite apart from any filtering of addresses that Thunderbird might be doing, you also need to bear in mind that some mail services also suppress CC to oneself; gmail is one such. Since they store everything in the All Mail folder, they don't encourage discrete separate copies. In gmail, All Mail is also effectively the "Sent" folder, so there is already a copy of the sent message and you don't need (in their opinon) any additional copies.
One way round this is to CC to another of your email addresses.
Other users have pointed out quirks in the Reply All functionality, particularly with reference to which "from:" address it selects. I take the view that whatever I want to do, I can't expect my mail client to read my mind, and so just manually review and check all addresses, including all recipients and the "from" address.
