I have uninstalled, and reinstalled Firefox twice. Sweetpacks is still there. It seems that is only on firefox. I cant find the file in my program file to delete it.

Hello,

This article might be of help to you:

First make sure that you uninstall Sweetpacks from Control Panel > Programs and Features for the Sweetpacks program.

To summarize the page above (which you should check out as it provides simple step by step instructions):

  • Remove the Sweetpacks extensions from your Add-ons (please see Disable or remove Add-ons for more information)
  • Go to your about:config page and search for "sweetpack", right click and "Reset" all preferences that show up.

Another alternative is to follow this guide: http://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-sweetpacks-toolbar/

Assuming you have uninstalled all of the Sweetpacks applications from your "Programs and Features" in the Control Panel, the only remaining step is to reset Firefox.

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions and some Preferences. To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Click the menu button New Fx Menu, click help Help-29 and select Troubleshooting Information. Now, a new tab containing your troubleshooting information should open.
  2. At the top right corner of the page, you should see a button that says "Reset Firefox"Button reset. Click on it.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.
