I can't get video to start in Facebook anymore. Was always fine until about 2 weeks ago.

Using Windows 7, Firefox. Now whenever I see a post with a video in it on Facebook, I just get a big black screen. I've tried deleting cache, cookies, updating to latest version of Firefox, Flash. Nothing. Big black screen.

It was fine until about 2 weeks ago. I assume there's been some update in Windows or Firefox or something which is knocking it out, or changed a setting somewhere, but I don't know where to find that. Any ideas?

With the last Firefox upgrade, some plugins are no longer enabled until you enable it.

Open the Add-ons Manager by Pressing the Alt or F10 key to bring up the tool bar. Followed by; Tools > Add-ons.

Hot key; <Control> (Mac: <Command>) <Shift> A)

On the left side of the page, select Plugins.

BTW; At the top right is a link to check your plugins.

I am using Ad BlockPlus, and wondered if that was an issue. So I have disabled it on Facebook, but no change. I've used AdBlockPlus for a couple of years - no problems on Facebook or other sites for video.

I disabled both PDF plug-ins; shut FF down and restarted it -- no change.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Pressing the Alt or F10 key to bring up the tool bar." Does nothing on my computer. I find add-ons under Tools.
