I have an plug-in incompatible with the latest update
Hi, I use the Dashlane password manager app on my Mac, running Mavericks 10.9.4, and was recently asked to upgrade Firefox to v.31. When I attempt to do so, Firefox says the Dashlane plug-in is incompatible, and I need this plug-in to work.
Do I wait until this notice no longer appears and then upgrade? Or am I asking in the wrong place? Should I email Dashlane?
Thanks!

Whenever a new Firefox update comes out, I mostly have the same issue with my Norton 360 Identity Safe password manager. I generally wait until the new update is available for the Extension and then update Firefox. In most cases, it gets updated in a few days.
The alternative is to use the Password Manager built into Firefox, so you don't have to wait, but you would have to determine how high the security is as compared to Dashlane.
The Dashlane plugin shows in the plugins list in the System Details list, so Firefox detects it. If the plugin isn't working in the current Firefox release then you need to contact Dashlane for support or possibly check if there is already an update available that addresses this issue.
