FireFox print to PDF unable to copy text field
I have recently tried printing a page to PDF, and when i open the PDF file, everything is able to be copied, except for the text fields.
Any1 has possible suggestions? i have tried many methods from the other forum posts but it still does not work. This problem seems to happen only to Firefox.

One option would be to use this extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/ad.../print-pages-to-pdf/. It works locally, i.e., without using an external website for conversion. It's especially useful to work around print style sheets that make the site look like a text dump. However, sometimes the fonts are a bit weird and there's no way to turn off Shrink to Fit.

The latest stable and latest development versions of the built-in PDF viewer are available as an extension and these version can possibly perform better than the version shipped with the current Firefox release.

When I print to PDF Factory Pro 3.x, this textarea I'm typing in looks like an image element with a graphical rendering of the text in it. Definitely not copy-paste friendly...
Hi thanks. I am actually using PDF995 and it seems more of firefox problem rather than the printer problem because i am able to copy paste text field when printed from IE. And yes it does look like it saved text fields as image.

i'll take note of it thanks:) Would there be any alternative suggestions to try?
I have also another problem on my laptop which says an unknown error occured while printing(also FireFox)
Oh no, the dreaded unknown error. I think we have had some past threads on that, but I can't recall any specifics. As a starting point, I suggest this article, if you haven't worked through it already: Fix printing problems in Firefox.
