I imported an appointment into the calendar. I wanted to setup a reminder. The only option is "Show an alert". Is it possible to to create a reminder option other than "Show and alert"?

thunderbird keeps stating the following: Sending of the message failed. There was an error attaching My 2nd photo spraying P1080183.JPG. Plese check that you have access to the file.

I get this on the 3 pictures I took myself. What is wrong with your system now? Is this an AI problem? Why am I getting questioned on my pictures now??? Very irritating since no one can answer this simple question.

Pictures are of my area / since I can't find any version number for Thunderbird / but it is updated always it is the most current when AI is present

I have a Dell Desktop with 64GB Memory, Windows 11, Intel Core i7-7700 @ 3.60 GHz, 1TB ssd, and two additional drives. On a new installation of Thunderbird 152.0, I get "System Integration" (Not Responding)" window. The only option is to exit. What can I check to correct this. I have uninstalled and deleted the install file multiple times with the same result. Thank you.

A category (Daily Brain something) of emails that are clearly spam (you even think they are spam) are landing in my Inbox every day. I have my email set to not allow emails from any addresses that aren't in my book. If I follow their 'unsubscribe' link, I just get more of them. It's possible to drag/drop contacts from To to CC or BCC.

It should be possible to do so across messages open in separate windows.

But when I try it, it fails.

In Thunderbird 151.0.1 [64 bit] I get the following error message: Error Inbox - inbox on .....[my email address] "There is not enough disk space to download new messages. Try deleting old mail, emptying the trash folder and compacting your mail folders and then try again." I did all of that, even went into windows disk cleanup to free up more disk space. I get the same error message. I have 3 email accounts in Thunderbird, only one account has this problem. When I use Outlook express I do not get any error messages but I do get a malicious email that AVG intercepts. So how can I purge bad email from Thunderbird ? Or what else may be going on and what else could I try ? I have deleted all old emails, in Thunderbird, I routinely delete old emails. Thanks alot Sam

Why the program will not read old zip that thunderbird made,I have watch countless hours of crap on YouTube and still can not read my old zip files, I must be missing a step in process , also I am elderly, so explain it clear Thank you, most appreciated

I did Edit - Find - Search Messages and then Edit - Find- Global Search and searched for messages. Now all the e-mails in my Inbox disappeared. What can I do? Thank you.

When all the comcast accounts migrated to yahoo, there wasn't supposed to be a change but I cannot send or receive messages through Thunderbird. I deleted my old passwords and tried to use the one that works at yahoo but it is not working.

Apparently I also have 3 thunderbirds running on my machine .  I don't know how to get rid of the old ones

I also got an error message that says 151.0.4 is not compatible with 151.0.3

Today I created a subfolder and moved many precious e-mails there. That move was successful. Thereupon I shut down my Thunderbird and my computer. When I restarted my computer and my Thunderbird the folder which I created was empty. Please let me know how I can recover the e-mails. Thank you.

I use Thunderbird and Firefox as my default browser. When I open a pdf file in Thunderbird, a new tab opens with the pdf document but Firefox stays in the background. I have to click on the tab to view the document. I don't remember it being like that before. Is there a way to adjust the settings in Firefox (or Thunderbird) to allow the browser to come to the front right away?

One emails will not download from server. Using the repair folder it says folder is busy wait until finish. All other emails work fine. One email only keeps going back. Thankyou

somehow i managed to import from one email account to another thinking i would like it but i don't like since it just makes me have same mail in 2 places but i don't know and can't find how to cancel the import, can someone tell me how

I have a Postfix/Dovecot server that hosts 10 of my domains from one IP.

When you open Thunderbird, it checks the domains you have preset. I have two. This happens immediately, especially if there is no new mail on the server. Everything works fine.

If you have other domain mailboxes open, and I have eight more, and you click the inbox on each one, Thunderbird stalls at the fifth mailbox, regardless of the inboxes' selected order.

tail -f /var/log/mail.log - confirms this.

I have reset or modified everything I can think of. My server is not throttling Dovecot.

This must be something internal to Thunderbird, possibly related to only using a specific mail server IP for all domains.

Google AI suggests assigning a unique local IP alias to each domain on my server so Thunderbird thinks it’s talking to 10 different machines. This seems extreme.

Any solutions?
