ChatGPT wrote code for me for an electricity cost calculator. The Boolean "required" attribute is used for several <input> elements. This is supposed to cause the browser to popup a notification if data isn't entered in the panels when the Submit button is clicked/tapped on a form. Now this works on Windows using the Firefox browser, and in the Chrome app on Android, but not in the Firefox app on Android. Android version is 16. Firefox is v159.0

This is an example of the code for a text input box:

     <label>Electricity unit cost (per kWh in cent or pence)</label>
     <input id="ec-rate" required="" type="number" />

The attached screenshot shows what the Chrome app does, popping up a notification to enter data if nothing was entered before submitting the form. Firefox just doesn't do anything when I tap the Submit button. ChatGPT added a secondary data check in JS to cater for the scenario where a form is submitted with no entries in the hours or time boxes. I removed the required attribute in the code for these boxes so that either box could be left unfilled (a user can enter hours or minutes without having to enter both).

How can I install the “ASS Subtitle Player” extension on Firefox for Android? The “Add to Firefox” button is disabled / not working. Why can’t I install it and what is the solution?

Duckduckgo version opens links from apps but i have firefox set as default. I feel this is a vulnerability because no extensions are used and there is little confidence in a hijacked default setting. Android on Samsung 6i tablet.

Downloaded files for example video file is not working and in the player it splited as 2 files and none of the file is working and sometimes the download failed is coming when downloading. How to fix this i have the lastest version Firefox browser and still have this issues.

On my Android samsung phone, I often need to switch from Firefox app to Aquamail app and then back to Firefox app .

The reason is to read the code sent to confirm identity (for MFA)

The concern is when I'm back to Firefox app, it refreshes the Firefox page and ... the browsed website send again another code in a new mail... This loop prevents me definitively the connection to the browsed website!

(Unless I have a separate PC to read mails without leaving Firefox app on my phone).

It happens for about 75% of the websites I need. And is probably linked to the manner the different websites are written.

I precise than I accepted cookies from all these websites ( hotels, regular buying, electric car loading, etc).

What can I do on Firefox options or on Android options to avoid the concern, which is really a blocking point  ?

Samsung A32 Android 10 Android Firefox last version Android Aquamail 1.59

I just had to reset a password and I did it on the desktop program. I used the auto generated password and saved it. I can access it on desktop but not on the mobile app. A manually synced data from both devices. I checked to have the latest version . I even logged out from the mobile app and resynced and still the password doesn't appear.

Last update seems to have broken something. The app constantly seizes, freezes, acts like it's crashed, takes over the device OS such that back and minimize buttons don't work, tab access button non-functional, so I can't even close the page that's stuck
