Have be3n hav8ng this problem for at least a week, on a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8 with Android 14 (One UI). About 20cto 30 seconds after launch, the browser abruptly closes back to the home screen. Have tried resetting the tablet, clearing some old apps out, etc., but thr problem persists.

I have dumped the latest Mozilla Crash Report from my browser. Apparently, there is an issue with memory:

Can SOMEONE help me figure this out, what should I do, etc.? I am going crazy fighting this..

I’m using a decent mid-range phone, and I usually keep only two apps in the recent apps list and a single tab open in Firefox. But every time I switch from Firefox to another app... like the gallery or file manager to upload a file or attach a PDF... the Firefox tab reloads when I come back. This completely resets whatever I was doing on the site, which is extremely frustrating.

The browser feels too memory-hungry and poorly optimized, even when I’m using just one tab. At this point, I’m honestly considering uninstalling Firefox and switching to a different browser, even though I’ve been using Firefox as my default on both Windows and Android for years. I really don’t like the Chromium-based alternatives, but it feels like my hands are tied.

In the current version of Firefox, I spotted an issue. I'm inclined to believe it's related to Firefox, as I did not encounter it in other apps/browsers. Whenever I try to edit the text in the address bar, I cannot scroll from side to side. I can only edit within the length of the bar itself.

My device is the OnePlus 12, running android 16 and the latest version of Firefox as of writing.

On a side note, did the developers remove the "select all tabs" feature?

Is there any way that I can enable Thought-provoking stories on the Android version of Firefox? I would love to have this feature when I am travelling and I am with my tablet.

Everytime I try to click a link on Gmail it leads me to a FF page saying "Unable to connect. The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. If you are unable to load any pages, check your device’s data or Wi-Fi connection."

I tried to deactivate all privacy and protection within the settings, but it behaves the same way. Am I missing something here?

On my Samsung Tablet, the Firefox landing page used to have the pinned shortcuts displayed. Now don't even get the landing page, just a Google Search line and Firefox message about leaving no traces.

When I watch youtube from Firefox on Android I cannot open comments under video. I can see they are there, but when I open them I cannot see them, it's just blank space.

Hi, asking again for help on recovering my bookmarks and history on the mobile Firefox. Since the screen layout is suddenly different (graphic boxes vs the drop down list it's always been), I assume there was an update. I kept logging in with Google but nothing happens. If you can help, please reply. I'm visually impaired and I depend on bookmarks and history to get things and medical services I need. I know it's just as frustrating for anyone to lose their history, just a bit more difficult for me. Thanks for anything you can do, I appreciate it!
