Multi Taps opening in tabs bar on opening
When I open Firefox multi taps open in the tabs bar. This never happened before. How can I correct that?

When I opened Firefox today, it asked me which profile I'd like to use. I named one Katy and then continued. Now, I can't see any of my bookmarks, none of my passwords are saved, none of my sites recognized. I've been using Firefox for years. Everything I have is saved there. I just want my old stuff back. I'm signed in on my account, but can't see another profile that I can choose. My phone still has all the passwords and bookmarks from before but I I can't see what profile I'm signed in under. Can anyone help?

С некоторых пор, совсем недавно, опция PDF перестала сохранять отредактированные страницы практически с любого сайта из интернета. Это крайне неудобно. I was using Firefox just fine during the day. My laptop switched off with Firefox still open (was simply doing sth else). When I switched my laptop back on and opened Firefox I was signed out of my account. When I signed back in all my profiles and bookmarks were gone. Is there anyway to fix this issue?

I'm trying to diagnose an unusual problem on a relative's computer elsewhere in the country via TeamViewer. When Firefox is initiated, the same picture (a man taking a shower) appears, and the VERY 'long URL starts with a Yahoo image file (yimg) and also contains buzzfeed.com well into that URL. I thought I could easily diagnose this, and have failed. Home page is set to blank page. I cleared all browsing data. When that failed I exported bookmarks, created a new profile, and the problem still continued, even before importing the bookmarks or adding any extensions. Something is retaining the unwanted startup behavior. Tonight, out of desperation, I will reconnect and look through the registry.
Can anyone surmise why an unwanted URL is being invoked upon Firefox startup?

I am having passwords and emails not being saved.It does not matter whether it is ether or both, It does not recognize them a lot of the Roku channels I have. Sometimes it asked to save,or the reminder will not come up. Trying to recoup password or create a new is just as bad I realize some of it is the websites fault BUT............. The problem still exists .I also may be doing something wrong. Please help me if you can

I think I have the most up to date firefox and still I get failed in the download box, any time I try to download files or more important pdf files.

With the new profile manager your have to choose a Profile that you have to open on system start. That is okay, but I often change between two main profiles, "Homelab" and Personal. That means if I close Firefox and open it again it defaults to open in the last profile use. When I get an idea, I like to start researching and testing before i get side tracked
Is there a way to specify to open a link in a particular profile, like with Edge you would do something like: "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Firefox.lnk" -profile-directory="Profile 2"

The same thing happens on my two Dell laptops (Inspiron and Latitude), and a Hyper-V VM (on my desktop PC). They all run Bazzite Linux 6.17.7-ba25.fc43.x86_64.
A video may play for a second or two, and then it's either a black screen, or an error message of "The content doesn't seem to be working."
On the same two laptops and VM, the Chromium Browser, and LibreWolf (a fork of Firefox?), have no issues playing the same videos.
Firefox version on all three systems is 147.0.3.

I get three grey boxes at the top right of the Firefox start-up page. See the attached image. They dissappear if I search and enter another web page. The only way I can get rid of them is to reset Firefox. They return within 24 hours.
What are they and how can I get rid of them?
I'm unable to sign in to my bank account, as my QR reader app won't read the code on your screen

I cannot use the evernote web clipper extension because although pinned there is no elephant icon in the toolbar
pdf filles are not opening
open previous windows on start up is selected, but it does not bring them up on a new opening. i have tried many ties to reset it but it does not work. any ideas?
