Every time I carry out a search (on Google or on DuckDuckGo), after I have my Google or DDG results I find a tab has been created with Britannica offering a result for the search. I never installed Britannica and I don't want it to appear - I want to remove Britannica from my system altogether. But I don't have a Britannica app in my Settings list of apps and I never intstalled it. It's like a virus. Can anybody help me to get rid of it?

MP4 Not loading:

I have uploaded a few MP4 animated images to our website, but they are not loading in the Firefox browser. It looks like they are getting corrupted. This issue only occurs in Firefox. I’ve also attached screenshots for reference. Can someone help me understand why they are loading like this?

Bonjour, Depuis quelques temps il m'est impossible de marquer les onglets que je désire conserver. La fonction "marquer l'onglet courant" ne fonctionne plus. Sur le même sujet, il m'est également impossible d'effacer les marque-pages que je ne souhaite pas conserver. Donc, pour résumer, impossible de marquer de nouveaux onglets et impossible d'effacer les anciens qui ont été conservés. Merci de votre aide. Hello, For some time now it has been impossible for me to mark the tabs I want to keep. The 'Mark Current Tab' function no longer works. On the same subject, it is also impossible for me to delete tabs that I do not wish to keep. So, to sum up, it is impossible to mark new tabs and impossible to erase the old ones that have been kept. Hey. When win 10 support ends, how long after can i get updates from firefox to firefox? I am thinking to get Opatch on my laptop, because i will not have win 11, but it is nescassary that firefox is updated so i still can login many places, ex bank, health and so on.

How do I remove the little pins that have appeared on each of my icons on the home page? I don't want to unpin them, just remove the pin image - too busy and disturbing. All my icons are pinned items.

 Since some days I have the problem that all files I download from outlook are accompanied by a preceding UTF-8 in the file name. This is not the case for e.g. google chrome. Can I fix this problem by myself, or is it a general problem of firefox 128.9esr (64-bit)?

I went from Chrome to Firefox several months ago when I discovered that Firefox would automatically reopen all open tabs from previous session. I always put my pc in "sleep" mode at night. This morning it wouldn't "wake up" so I held the power button down until it shut down (Windows 11). Then I hit the power button and it started fine. I opened Firefox (Version 333.0) and all my tabs were gone. My wife uses Firefox on her Mac laptop and the same thing happened to her. She put her laptop to sleep last night and this morning all her tabs were gone.

After 3 hours of restoring my tabs, i went to settings and the option for Firefox to reopen all tabs from previous session was grayed out and clicking the circle next to it didn't do anything.

I am assuming this was caused by a Firefox update and am hoping someone has a fix for this. I'd hate to go back to Chrome, but I can't live with spending three hours of each day restoring tabs. I'd appreciate and be eternally grateful for any assistance and fix for this issue.

When I go to log in to Amazon there is a grey drop down box that says, Manage Passwords. If I click on that bar it takes me to a page where saved passwords would be on my computer. That box just started dropping down today. I called Amazon and it doesn't have anything to do with them. How do I get rid of that drop down box when logging into Amazon. I feel like my account has been compromised somehow.

When I open FF 137 on my iMac running OS 12.7.6, it just keep trying and trying with no link. When I try and quit it needs to be forced quick to stop running. There are no fire walls and it worked yesterday 4-5-25 just fine, but no go today. I tried replacing FF and still no luck, what do I try now, [email removed]@yahoo.com

Here is the email I received:

Is this a legitimate email?

something has happened in the last couple of weeks. I can no longer use firefox to get into sites with embedded information. I can't get into my Bank account or Energylink. I've been using firefox for years but I may have to switch if someone doesn't tell me how to fix this....

Hello, I use Windows 10, I downloaded Firefox using Microsoft Edge. Once it is installed, it creates an Icon then when you double click it, it does not open, even when I try to open as administrator and it opens, it does not look like a Firefox page because it is a blank page.
