Although the option to "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" is unchecked in my settings, I am still getting logged out of all websites when Firefox restarts. This was never the case when I used Safari, and it's quite inconvenient to have to log in to so many websites all over again, especially when two factor authentication is required for many of them.

Is there anything that might be causing this, anything I can check or do on my end so that I am staying logged in on restart? Thank you.

I don't recall clearing the history.

Also, starting a few days ago, if you type it into the search bar on the homepage, it will drop to the top. What is the cause of these issues? I'm using Windows 11.

BT yesterday misspelt my email address with an additional 'h'. Although the original address has now been restored, firefox will no longer accept the original version (displaking a red sticker saying 'email address or user name misspelt') and I can only read my emails using on my Windows laptop using Microsoft Chrome. As I dislike having anything to do with google, please can someone explain how to resolve this problem (by removing cookies or whatever else).

Would it be possible to extend the "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" to not delete cookies from any domain stored in a bookmark? (I don't want to delete those as I'll get logged out/lose my preferences etc)

Why do I have to sign-in to Gmail AGAIN each time I start Fire Fox?

• This even happens when I simply close and restart Firefox. (Not Windows restart)
• Using Windows 11 and FireFox Version 148.0 (64-bit) is up-to-date.
• Using Privacy Badger extension
• Using Malwarebytes Privacy Guard extension.

Windows 11 Home 64-bit

For the last couple of days, FF has been signing me out of all social media sites and some other sites that are open in tabs also. I'll go back to the tab, and be signed out when I was signed in 5 minutes ago. Google, FB, Reddit all have this problem and some streaming sites. I had changed my settings to clear all data when it was closed, so I thought that might be it, but I changed it back and restarted FF and the computer and it's still doing it. Haven't tried another browser yet.

Since the last update or two, cookies are filling up crazy fast - especially from Facebook - and I'm barely on it even these days. AND, I am not surfing other sites either, just working (claude/chatgpt only mostly).

Yet - this is JUST from today. How on earth is this possible??

I can't block cookies because things won't work the same - but this is ridiculous to have to empty everything constantly/daily.

What changed? Can you guys please fix this?

i am getting an error message from one gmail.com email account and suggested to clear my firefox cache. Where is that

I manually clear all youtube cookies. I have these youtube exceptions. After going to youtube, then checking "Manage Cookies and Site Data" I still see Firefox saved a youtube cookie.

I changed nothing in settings, and doubled back and checked, still set to open windows/tabs where left off, and not to delete site data/cookies when closed, but every time I open the app, nothing, no history, no tabs, have to re-sign-in to everything. Why might this be, as it didn't seem like an update happened in line with this occuring, or anything at all for that matter that would change how things behave.

While attempting to change my password in my TrendMicro antivirus, it was suggested that I clear my Firefox "Cookies & Site Data" and I cannot find that option in Firefox. How do I accomplish this task presently--it used to be so easy.

Can log on to the Google Maps Web Site OK. However, trying to log on to my Google account (in Google Maps) I get the following message: "We've detected a problem with your cookie settings. ". If I try 'Private Browsing' in Firefox (CTRL-SHIFT-P) I am able to log in. However, this seems to have lost all of the Open tabs that I had in 'ordinary' Firefox.

Unable to log into my Google Gmail account, It's telling me to clear the cache in my browser. I've gone to Settings, Privacy and Security, Clear browsing data and cookies. Nothing works. Would appreciate help, please.
