How to Select a Firefox Perofile

I had a problem where FF 140.0 would not update, and in trying to get FF yo update, I used a re-install tool to which I was pointed in my problem report. This caused FF to wipe out my configuration, and I lost all my windows and tabs. I have gone to

    \Appdata\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Proifiles\abnfpged.default

cleared all of the data therein, and restored that directory from a backup I made last Monday. But I cannot get FF to use that directory. "about:profiles" shows only two profiles, but the Profiles directory has five profiles:

Only the profiles beginning with "j" and "f1" are seen in the "about:profiles" screenshot I have attached. And I have attached a screenshot of my profiles.ini file. Also, in the abnfpged.default directory I restored, where is the list of all of my open windows and tabs? FF used to keep that in a sessionstore.jsonlz4 file, but that file is only written when FF closes. I tried to save a copy when I was having problems, but I stored the copy in the same directory, which FF changed during the re-install process. Here is my profiles,.ini file:

The popup generally appears if you're trying to exit or refresh a page but haven't hit post or submit after entering data into a field. It's a good warning in case you've forgotten to do just that. I accidentally restarted Firefox after an update, and when I returned to the site I was working on I got this popup. Which makes sense, because I had entered in a ton of data and hadn't submitted it.

However, the page that I was returned to wasn't the one into which I'd entered my data - it was more of a home page for the website. I suspect this is a lost cause, but ... is it at all possible that the browser actually has that data saved somewhere and is waiting for me to complete submitting it? Or is this just a false positive?

Since the Firefox Developer Edition update 152.0beta, saving as a PDF via the print menu no longer works. Although the “Save as PDF” option is available and selected by me, the job is always sent to the laser printer (which is not supposed to print it, of course). This happens on every conceivable website, so the website itself is not the cause. (Platform: macOS Tahoe 26.5.1)

For years, I’ve been able to generate PDFs via the print menu in FF without any issues—now I’m forced to take a detour via Safari, for example (which works correctly every time). So who has recently tinkered with this FF feature?

Since I can’t find the relevant setting in the FF preferences—and a “search” on this topic has been unsuccessful—I’d like to know if there’s a solution?

I am no longer able to open in Mac Preview or save when hitting Command + P, then 'print using system dialog'. It will only print instead. For instance, I save certain web pages as PDFs using the print dialog and now it will only print when trying to use either the save or preview options. Command + P, print using system dialog, then I choose either save as PDF or open in Mac Preview, but as soon as I do one of these it will only print. I am able to use save in the drop-down list of printers, but I need to be able to open in Mac Preview.

Since the Firefox Developer Edition update 152.0beta, saving as a PDF via the print menu no longer works. Quickly pick and copy a color from any page by typing "pick color", "color picker", or "eyedropper" in the address bar and selecting the "Pick a color" quick action.

This does not work for me. Typing any of the proposals in the address bar just uses the normal search without showing the possibility to select the color picker.

This has now disappeared and the only way I can see the bookmarks is to go to "manage bookmarks". I don't see how to bring it back to the way it was.

The previous zoom percentage options of ...80-70-60-50-40-30 were (more logical and) *far* more useful than the current options of 80-67-50-30. If for some reason you are limited to four values in this range, then I'd much prefer choices of 75-55-45-30 percent. The two images attached are saved at (resp.) 50%, which is too large for my purposes -- namely, inclusion as in-line e-mail images -- and 30%, which is too small.

(+ 6 more) Much of the information displays normally, EXCEPT: Under "Composition": "not currently available" Under "Distributions & Expenses": "not currently available" Under "Performance & Risk": there are two sections, but only one of them displays normally Under "Statistics": three sections, only one displays normally; the other two "not currently available" (see attached image) I've checked with Fidelity support, and they verified no issues at their end--identified as a browser issue since the site doesn't have this problem using MS Edge I've cleared the cache, I've turned off enhanced tracking protection, I've temporarily enabled all scripts (NoScript extension)... none of these actions helps FWIW, I also enable Privacy Badger and Malwarebytes Browser Guard, but neither claims to be blocking anything
