as the title describes: i get no audio when browsing websites like Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok. However, the browser is detecting audio (I get the speaker icon on the tab), and my sound mixer settings on my PC are correct (firefox is not muted, and the input/output settings are connected to my headset, so no issues there).

the same sound mixing settings are enabled on Chrome, and I'm able to receive audio from those same websites/pages when using that browser. but, i hate chrome, and prefer using firefox... I'm at a loss for what I can do to get audio from those websites (specifically TikTok). YouTube has always played fine for me, though.

Has anyone else experienced this?? is there a way to fix it?? surely i'm just missing a step/setting...?😭😭

Hello, I want to travel my profile manually. And may automate it by my home computer which is a WebDAV server.

But I find a big folder "Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\fgrfgcgt.default-release\storage\default" It is 2.65G which is a bit big. I can exclude/delete it from my backup?

Lets say i am watching YouTube and when i click "f" on my keyboard its suppose to go into fullscreen it does the animation of getting into fullscreen but it doesn't go into fullscreen it just scrollsdown sometimes.

In google chrome they make going to your history easy and already sync the history between all the devices that are using the same account easy i dont want a small sidebar that sshows up and dont even give me my correct history its always jumping around and it is hard to find the exact thing i want its like a complicated file manager i just wanna see a separate tab the open when i hit ctrl+h not a side bar. I also want to put my own wallpaper on my firefox and make the bookmarks easier to use on mobile instead of clicking so many things just to open bookmarks.

How do I automatically open all current Firefox tabs from one laptop onto a new computer? I just set-up Firefox app on a new laptop computer, and want to automatically reopen all the tabs that I have open on the old computer onto the new one?

How do I do this without going individual tab by tab?

Only as of late, I have been getting a "blocked" screen message when I click on the bookmarked website for my Summit Credit Union digital banking site. No other access problems. Just this site now and never previously.

I have been trying to use autofill on my saved passwords for 3 weeks. I have gone through all of the steps on your website, changed my password and when I try to open any site that I have saved, it asks me for a Primary password, which I have changed countless times and I still cannot access the auto fill password for any of the websites I have saved. I am extremely frustrated. I got an email from Mozilla with how to do this and it is not working. I would very much like to speak with someone to walk me thru this as soon as possible. Every few days a popup appears that tells me "An extension, Panorama Tab Groups, is hiding some of your tabs. You can still access all of your tabs from <down arrow>." It has two buttons: Disable Extension and Keep Tabs Hidden.

There seems to be no way to turn this off. I *want* the tabs hidden; that's why I have the extension installed. And I really don't want to be pestered with this popup like this. How do I stop it?

Because the economy, inflation, and lower incomes are still a major problem, many users like myself need to continue using old computers that can only run Windows 7. So we need Firefox ESR 115 to continue being supported with updates for at least a couple more years.

For some reason every time I open Firefox the window closes. I can see it's open on my dock, but if I click on it, the window opens and closes again. It's so fast I can't even go to the setting for Firefox. Anyone knows what's going on?

My Firefox is fine, it works normally (except for Youtube pages which take over a minute to start playing).

Today, while FF was open and working fine, I clicked on an url shortcut on my desktop and got the "firefox is already running but is not responding" error - this came after I disabled Microsoft automatic sign-in to apps and services (I run a local account). So I think that's what has screwed things up.

So now FF will only open a shortcut if it's already closed, but not if it's already open like normal. If I drag and drop the same short cut onto FF it opens no problem, so I think it's a windows screw up,..

But how to fix it ?

Lately I’ve noticed that Firefox sometimes delays or fails to load certain academic or book resource sites. One particular example is libgen.is — I occasionally use it for accessing research materials, but Firefox either shows a security warning or takes too long to load the page.

I tested the same link on Chrome and Edge, and it loads without any issue. My Firefox is up to date, and I’ve already tried clearing the cache and disabling add-ons, but the problem persists.

Could this be due to DNS settings or enhanced tracking protection? Is there a workaround or exception I can set safely?

I'm experiencing an issue when copying PNG images only in the Firefox browser. Here's the problem: When I copy a PNG image and paste it into Photoshop or any other program, I get an image with a black background.

This didn’t happen before, but it started occurring after a few recent updates.

In other browsers, I get a “normal” PNG image with a transparent background.
