Trouble with streaming services(like youtube(only streams ), twitch, music streaming) on nightly Firefox Nightly 145.0a1 (2025-10-11) (x64) Cachy OS Binary from firefox.com

Hi, I've got a "confirm your account" email, which I click through to get to my account but from there I don't know what to do to verify it. Is there a "verify" button that I'm missing, or an action I need to do on my account in order to finalise it? Thanks

When I attempt to search on Mozilla Firefox I get this message from Norton, my antivirus software provider: "We prevented your connection to rini.drorinat.com because it is a dangerous webpage:URL:Phishing" This has only happened in the last few days. I am offered no sites - just this message from Norton. How can I solve this, as Norton does not appear to offer a solution, though I have messaged them on their site.

I am using Dashlane for password protection. I have purchased The Nord VPN and now Nord wants to install NordPass seemingly for password protection. I don't want that so what do I do now?

On Windows 11 24H2, Firefox 145.0.2, I click file link and select "Save as" on Firefox file open dialog, firefox display "Windows's file dialog was crashed. File will saved as C:\Users\xxx\Downloads\xxxxxxxx.xxx". And downloaded file size is 0. This occurs with any file.

I tryed same operation on troubleshooting mode, and same result. Please tell me the solution.

These are technically two separate issues, but both pertain to functionality of the mouse and keyboard. Whenever I right click to bring up the menu, the options (despite being functional) do not appear in the menu proper. Instead there are just empty buttons. In addition, certain hotkeys aren't working at all. Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to copy paste are doing fine, but Ctrl-T and Ctrl-W to open and close tabs respectively do nothing. Neither of these issues were happening yesterday.

I've received a handful of emails from the Social Security Administration regarding the 2026 cost-of-living adjustment (COLA). Each time I click on the provided sign-in button, Firefox fails to connect. I am attaching a screenshot of the message it gives me instead. Today, on a whim, I tried to sign in using Chrome, and it worked fine. What is wrong with Firefox?

I've been using Firefox since forever but over the last couple of months, the auto translate subtitles (to English) hasn't been working when watching Youtube videos. There's a thread on the Youtube support site with nearly 40,000 posts of people with the same issue and tonight I was trying to watch a video where the hosts talk in Italian, so I use auto translate to English subtitles but no subtitles appear. It will show Italian language subtitles.

I've gone back through this Youtube channel's history trying videos I've previously watched from months/years ago when auto translate used to work but even they're not working now.

I decided to try the video in Edge browser and to my surprise the auto translate to English worked there. They also work in Chrome.

So what could be causing this issue on Firefox, which started about August time?

This is quite bizarre as I assumed all the processing/translation was done by Google/Youtube so in what way can Firefox be part of this issue?

To be clear, subtitles in the (foreign) language the people are speaking, works. Subtitles translated from that language to English (or other languages) has stopped working. Subtitles translated from that language to English IS working on Edge and Chrome browser.

I am looking to find a way to change the time in which I receive updates from Mozilla. Getting an update interferes with the operation of my laptop and to top it off, I don't know that there is an update coming through so I waste so much time thinking I have a problem with my connection, my router, my settings, my laptop. Hugely inconvenient. Why can't I set the time I want updates to come through and not interfere with me while my laptop is in use. This is enough to make me want to drop Firefox and switch out.

I wanted to set keywords for search engines (in order to quickly change them for a single query). This cannot be done for search engines by default (why?), so I had to delete them and create a new one with the same link and my own keywords. But now I can't give them the same name back, firefox says that such a search engine already exists. In general, it doesn't matter to me which letter is there. The main purpose of my appeal is to draw attention to the fact that search engines cannot be edited by default, because it is quite inconvenient. Ever since the last 3 updates, I have been struggling with F1TV. Prior to the very latest update I could still log in after about 4 attempts of loading the site, but now, I keep on getting error messages. On Edge i can log in with no issues. Any ideas on this issue?
