Hi Gids and Moses,

I have visited the site and clicked ok to the notification you both saw. It then took me to a page to sign up. I clicked away and refreshed the page and the presentation loaded.

Clear the cache and try to reload the page. Does the presentation show up?

Hi Gids,

Unfortunately, it seems like you've come across a bug. I am unable to access the site with release, beta, aurora, and nightly. However on Apple's site:

  • iWork for iCloud beta will allow you to use these browsers, but some features may not work as expected:
    • Safari 5.0 - 6.0.2 (OS X)
    • Firefox 9.0 and later
    • Google Chrome 7.0 - 26.0.1

I've already filed a bug report named 992597 Please do not comment on bug reports unless you have constructive information to add. Thanks!

Is this the first time you've had this error or did it just start?

It was the first time I have tried to use iCloud Keynote Viewer.

Alright,

Then I'm going to say it's a bug problem since it's reproducible for me. Also, I would CC yourself so you can get information about it ASAP, Now this is my opinion and another contributor may have more information than I do. I've also escalated this thread to the SUMO Help Desk which is a dedicated full time paid staff of SUMO.

Rachel,

You know what? I didn't even bother to click OK to see what happens. How noobish of me :P 5 years and didn't think of that... Anyway, I can confirm that it indeed works. However, it's up to you when or not you want to keep that bug open for investigating as this can mislead users or if you want me to close it off as INVALID. Your call there.

Moses, what is really misleading is that popup is part of the web app. I wonder if its a bug on their site.

It seems to me the behaviour has changed, perhaps fixed by Apple. It used to not let you dismiss the info box, when you pressed OK nothing would happen, now it works so I have marked the issue solved.

I've closed off the bug as INV since the issue has been fixed and Gids hasn't returned with any issues.
