When I am using fireefox, and typinng into text documentts within the fiireefox winndow, the letters thatt appearr onscreen are doubled. I press the key oon the keyboard onne time, but the letterr shows up on the sccreen twicee. This problem does not occur inn any otherr programs. It onnly happens in the firefox (e.g. everything works fine inn Microsoft Word).

If this does not help, please run a virus scan. Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
