I am looking for a plug-in or other means to view and save the contents of the browser cache in Firefox version 24.0, for offline viewing.

Firefox would be so horrid if pages were fully saved. Only common parts or very small parts are saved into the cache, you will need to save a page (Ctrl + S) to see it offline.
I thinks that previously working extensions have stopped working.
