When trying to log in, I get the following error message.

User with this Username already exists.
A user with that email address already exists.

I'M the freaking user, I KNOW I already exist. If I already exist, why can't I log in?

I may not be computer literate, but I can read. I have "signed up" several times, and each time I received a verification. Still couldn't "log in". This is the kind of stupid answer you get when you cede your responsibility to provide good customer service to the customers themselves.

What happens if you try to log in in the usual way?

You did manage to post this question, is that under a different name?

After two hours of multiple "sign-ups" and "log-ins", Mozilla finally relented and recognized my log-in, and allowed me to post questions and "reply's".

I have followed your advice and cleared cache and cookies. It remains to see if I still have a problem receiving certain attachments. Thank you.
