Als ik iets wil downloaden, dan slaan mijn tabbladen op hol. Automatisch blijft firefox tabbladen aanmaken. Heel irritant, hoe kom ik hier vanaf?
Als ik iets van het net wil downloaden, gaat firefox elke keer automatisch tabbladen aanmaken. Ik moet firefox opnieuw opstarten dan is het weg. Ook download firefox uit zichzelf soms dingen van internet en dan slaan de tabbladen ook op hol. Is mijn computer met iets geinfecteerd?

Pardon me for answering in English - as far as I could understand firefox automatically creates tabs every time you download (?) something from the net. After you restart Firefox they are gone. Also Firefox downloads sometimes things from the Internet and creates tabs by itself.

You can have infinite tabs opening if you have selected Firefox as the application to handle a file if you get an Open with download window.
Firefox should not be selected as the application to handle a file and you have to remove the action that is associated with that file type.
