I reset firefox and lost all my extentions. Is there an easy way to retrieve the extentions I had prior to the reset? If I do a windows restore will this work?
All my extensions are gone now. I had many and dont want to have to trak them down and reinstall. Firefox should make these save with app data. Or at least post WARNING WARNING by reset to default firefox button!!!

That is the consequence of using Reset in Firefox 15+ version.
In Firefox 14 you could still revert to the previous default profile, but Firefox 15+ versions will move the old profile folder to an "Old Firefox Data-##" folder on the Desktop that gets a number appended if you use reset more than once, so you can no longer use the profile manager to revert to the old profile.
A possibility although not recommended can be to copy the extensions folder from the "Old Firefox Data-##" folder on the Desktop to the current Firefox profile folder.
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder
It is best to first try some basic steps to repair your current profile folder instead of creating a new profile via a reset or use the Profile Manager to create a new profile instead.
This may also work better for issues caused by cookies.
