I'm in Spain & I do a search in the Google search place, the address shows as Google.es How do I make it use Google.co.uk all the time?
Because it reverts to Google.es, a lot of the hits are in Spanish. What I'm really trying to do is access UK sites to buy stuff for when I get home & it's a pain having to change .es to .co.uk on each search

Hi Ideato I don't know if I'm doing what you say correctly? I pasted http://www.google.co.uk/ncr into my firefox, then did a search (weather torrevieja) & it reverted to http://www.google.es/search?q=weather+torrevieja&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&client=firefox-a & gave me hits in Spanish & English.
Am I missing something? Thanks for your help & time
Put in the location(or awesome bar) http://www.google.co.uk/ncr (or open it in a new tab) then put in the google search weather torrevieja the result is the follow : http://www.google.co.uk/search?sclient=psy-ab&hl=en&site=&source=hp&q=weather+torrevieja&btnK=Google+Search

Not on my little netbook! I click on your /ncr link & it opens a new tab with GoogleUK in it I click on the search bar (already loaded wth weather torrevieja from a previous search) & GoogleUK changes to Google.es Strange but true

You can also modify the pref keyword.URL on the about:config page to use Google's "I'm Feeling Lucky" or Google's "Browse By Name".
