I'm on a website where a dropdown list exists for items I've typed in the past. I want to keep the list in a text file but I have no way of copying it. Anyone know how to copy such a list?

Thanks, though the application doesn't do well what I specifically like, it does it halfway.

You can also use the SQLite Manager extension to create a CSV list of names.

  1. Open Profile Directory -> formhistory.sqlite -> Go
  2. Open Tables > moz_formhistory
  3. Hit the Execute SQL tab
  4. Use a Select like this: (moz_formhistory.firstUsed and moz_formhistory.lastUsed are available)
SELECT moz_formhistory.id,datetime(moz_formhistory.firstUsed/1000000,'unixepoch'),fieldname,value
FROM moz_formhistory
WHERE moz_formhistory.id
  • Click Run SQL to generate a results list
  • Click the Action button to Save the results to a CSV file

Once Form History Control is installed and open, you can use File -> Export Complete History as CSV. You can then copy and paste from the CSV into a text file.
