I want the word "Maps" to show on the home page

On previous versions of Firefox the word "Maps" is shown on the home page. On my recent download all I get is an icon which makes no sense and I have to scan thru all the icons and wait for the pop up to find what I want. How do I get real words rather than meaningless icons to appear on my home page?

被選擇的解決方法

Firefox 4 and later versions use a new build-in home page named about:home with a Google search bar on it.
That about:home page only shows some snippets and has a button to restore the previous session if applicable.

If you want a home page with extras then set another page as the home page like www.google.com as used in Firefox 3 versions.

Thanks Cor. Seems like newer versions of software are taking steps backwards sometimes. Anyway I'm not back to the earlier versions with "Words":):)
