I use F 4.0.1. F 5.0 is not useful for me since it doesn't support Google Toolbar, would you please stop the update message? Thanks!
The recurring update message bothers me and I can't update because Google Toolbar is very useful for me and I need a browser that supports it.

You can turn off the update message Tools > Options > Advanced > Update, but you will need to start working on the workarounds, because Google is not going to update their proprietary Toolbar, everything you need is available in Firefox, and I don't even think you need extensions. Please mark as solved.
The Google Toolbar is no longer supported by Google in Firefox 5 and up, you may be able to get what you want from it for a limited time, the directions to install the Google Toolbar were posted before Google actually announced dropping support.

In any case you can find several alternative solutions, and you can start working on them now, see
