My drop shadows appear to be faulty or are rendering incorrectly in some way. This occurs when the main Firefox 4 browser window is sitting in the background. For example if I open the download window or my preferences or also if I am working in other application windows over Firefox. here is a small example of what it looks like: Drop Shadow Fault Mousing over one of my Toolbar Bookmark buttons or selecting another window in the background 'lights up' the background window and the graphical error is cleared. This behaviour is intermittent but recurring. Anyone seen this before or any ideas what may be wrong? 13" Macbook Pro i7 OS X 10.6.7

I've tried re-installing Firefox but the problem persists. Anyone else getting this or any suggestions about what else to do?

I've since upgraded both Firefox and Thunderbird to version 6 and am now seeing it in both of these applications. Also upgraded OSX to 10.6.8. Is there anyone who has the faintest idea of what might be at issue here. These Mozilla apps are the only common factor in the appearance of this glitch. Any help at all is greatly appreciated.

Am on Firefox 10.0.2 now and am still seeing this issue with Firefox and Thunderbird. Any ideas?
