Stop Private Browsing is dimmed and I cannot change it so I cannot do an Import because that is also dimmed. I had to enter this question 3 or 4 time to get to this pages.

You will be in permanent private browsing mode. To stop Firefox opening in permanent private browsing mode do this:
- Open the Options window and go to the Privacy panel
- Change the setting "Firefox will" to "Remember history", alternatively if you set it to "Use custom settings for history", de-select the setting "Permanent Private Browsing mode"
