Since downloading Firefox 4, my Dell laptop functions at a crawl--or even slower than a crawl. What has caused this? Should I go back to an earlier version of Firefox? How do I do that?

I've been getting a "component returned failure code ....." which relates to "chrome 1 clickweather" and I've lost my l click weather.

I use Windows Security.

I've tried emptying the cache, browsing history in both Firefox and IE, I've disabled Java Quick Starter extension, I've defragged.
