How do I get firefox to start in regular mode.. it seems to be stuck in safe mode
I started firefox in safe mode to try to fix a problem with firefox not uninstalling some add ons...it did not help even following some trouble shooting directions ... now firefox wont start in regular mode or load the theme I want or come out of safe mode.. what should I do... I have restarted firefox 4 times and restarted my computer nothing is helping Thanks

I went to the link...page provided.. I had already done all the thing suggested.. nothing was working.. I hoped someone had something new to try.. I did get Firefox out of safe mode however, by a really unexplainable action,.. I can't say why it worker...I use Styles .. I saved a bookmark to all the styles pages I use.. so I went to one .. clicked on save using styles.. restarted Firefox and walla Firefox came out of safe mode .. The theme I was using and all other things loaded correctly.. Firefox has been working fine ever since
Do you get the Safe mode start window if you start Firefox or do you mean something else with starting in Safe mode like that your customizations are lost or reset?
Sorry I should have known that reply would be confusing .. I do have a start in safe mode screen.. located on my start bar under Mozilla .. This is where I went to start Foxfire in safe mode.. I started Foxfire deliberately to try to get some addons to uninstall .. Foxfire has been restarted probably 100 times since I uninstalled the addons .. some just are not comparable with the current version.. I have also been following Firefox trouble shooting .. It was just that after I started Firefox in safe mode and did what I needed to do in trouble shooting... I restarted Firefox and it did not come out of safe mode.. I restarted it several times.. still nothing... I tried all of the things listed on your link page.. still nothing .. it kept starting in safe mode.. The theme and addon I like to use wouldn't load.. of course.. In a moment of silly and wild desperation I went to Styles and down loaded one of the styles.. it told me to install styles to use it.. of course.. so I clicked on the install styles.. thinking .. it can't possibly install it because it already is.. its just that I'm in safe mode .. so of course styles is not running.. WELLL.... guess what... it loaded .. I restarted Firefox .. and every thing went back to normal .. My active theme loaded.. my addons loaded.. and my styles loaded .. The uninstalled addons however are still showing on the addons screen but they are not active soooo .. I guess I can live with it.... Thanks for all of your very good advice and help
