my own website has a navigation bar-in firefox the options does not open a nwe page. IN IE it works perfect. What can be the reason ?

Try posting at the Web Development / Standards Evangelism forum at MozillaZine. The helpers over there are more knowledgeable about web page development issues with Firefox.

That part of the page is covered by the DIV #txt_1_C01 that has a height of 1000px

I'm not sure where that link (Page: Home) should appear, but the current CSS rules makes it impossible to click the menu items.
