I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 - IE bookmarks moved fine but not the Fire Fox bookmarks. What would the name and location have been in Vista so I can search the hard drive for them. Yes I should have backed them up but its too late for that now.

They are stored in a file called places.sqlite inside the profile folder. For details of the location of the profile folder see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox

The profile folder is normally hidden, make sure that you have set Windows to show hidden files and folders.
