Like others have posted, Firefox suddenly stopped loading images posted in blogs and forums. I have checked load images automatically and it is checked. I have tried the other help topics to no avail. I started Firefox in safemode and it worked but not after exiting safemode.

You don't say which topics you've read, so I just want to make sure. Have you read Fix problems that cause images to not show.

Yes, Chris, I have.

I am trying again in safe mode and right now NOTHING loads correctly...so I'm turning things back on.

It seems with so many people having trouble right after the FF upgrade that there is a glitch somewhere, no?

Chrome' starting to look good again.

Try this: Go to Tools > Add-ons > Extensions, select Ghostery, and click Disable.

right now everything is disabled...turn everything but Ghostery back on?

more options

I restarted with Ghostery disabled and still no pix; note there there are not even "red x"...just blanks where the pix should be.

Also, previous version of FF worked with Ghostery enabled.

Okay, so it works while in Firefox Safe Mode, but does not work in normal mode with extensions disabled. Hmm...

Go to the address about:config, and click on "I'll be careful, I promise!". In the about:config page, search for the preference javascript.options.jit.content, double-click on it, and restart Firefox. Does the problem still occur?

more options

no, it doesn't work in either case. I thot mb w/newer v. of FF I was MISSING an add-on/ext that enabled pix to load, but couldn't find anything.

I am going to try re-installing FF next.

Any other ideas?

(appreciate the help BTW)

Did re-installing work?

more options

No...although I kept my settings which included my add-ons.

I guess next step is to disable all of the add-ons such as adblock and ghostery although I didn't have this problem prior to 3.6.3 with the same add-on suite.

If you create a new Firefox profile (temporarily), do you see the problem in the new profile? See Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles
