Why can't Firefox print correctly what Safari can?
I am trying to print specs for a computer (beck & front) at:
The print-out with Firefox captures only half on the picture and relevant info. Luckily, Safari prints correctly. I am wondering why can't Firefox do the job so I do not have to go to Safari for printing? This issue is not specific to this website, it happens often in many other cases. Is this being worked on? Thanks.

Strange. I can seem to print it to a PDF just fine, on Windows.
Maybe on Windows it does a better job. I am using a Mac.
Print to PDF also captures all relevant info for me on Linux.
Does it still happen in a new profile? An easy way to test a new profile is to install Developer Edition and see if it happens there or refresh your existing profile. Make sure you stay signed out of your sync account when testing.
zeronight, thanks for trying to help. What you mentioned is above my head.... However, I tried printing the same from a Windows 10 based laptop and Firefox and it printed correctly. Probably different versions of Firefox work differently on different platforms; the OS version and Firefox version might also make a difference. Too many variables...
You can reduce the number of variables by refreshing your existing profile.
Thanks for the link.
Similar problem - When I attempt to save my monthly brokerage statement while browsing in Safari and I select Print.. from the File pull-down, it automatically recognizes and rotates the landscape page into a portrait view. So whether I print it or chose save to pdf, the viewer is correct. When browsing this same statement in Firefox and I select Save Page As... from the File pull-down, it correctly saves the page by recognizing it as a landscape page and rotating it and saving it correctly albeit in portrait mode. Now the problem - if in Firefox I select Print... from the File pull-down, the viewer shows it in LANDSCAPE view and if I send it to a printer it prints the full landscape view, BUT if I select Save to PDF it saves a portrait view of the landscape page without rotating it - Hence a portion of the right side is lost.
The page can be orientated correctly by selecting Print using the system dialog... but I don't think I had to do that in December. Something got changed and Safari is doing it better.

Note that Mac OS users on OS X 10.12/10.13/10.14 have been moved to the 115 ESR update channel since your macOS X 10.14 platform no longer is supported (distributionID: mozilla-mac-eol-esr115), current releases require macOS 10.15 as a minimum.

Retirednick,
I have the latest version of Sonoma and the latest version of Firefox (115.8). Based on my experience to date, I can tell you that this version of Firefox did not fix the printing issues. I ran into them way too many times. So now if I need to print, I just go to Safari. printing or memory management are not Firefox's strengths. Maybe at some time the developers will pay attention to these issues and fix them.
