In order to view a PDF, I cannot just open it, I must download it. I tried the solution offered by Jefferson Scher and it didn't work. I'm using the latest version 119 of Mozilla which I downloaded today. 10/26/23

It would be helpful to include links to other people's solutions to see what you have already tried and didn't work.

My proposed solution:

  1. Click on the Hamburger menu and open settings.
  2. In the search bar, search for 'pdf'
  3. Scroll down and click on Portable Document Format (PDF) under 'Applications' / column 'Content Type'. Then click on the drop down menu icon next to the PDF and select 'Open in Firefox'.

I tested it and I can open PDFs without downloading them.

Some sites make you download files instead of viewing them. Try installing InlineDisposition Reloaded.
