I sync settings/info etc between two devices - an Asus Windows 10 laptop (Firefox 108.0.1 64-bit) and an iPhone6 (Firefox 108.1 (24234). A week or so ago I notice that sync was not happening and when I tried to access my Firefox account found that the password was not accepted - even though it was securely stored on the iPhone "passwords" list. I had to create a new Firefox password, however, all my other internet passwords that were stored on Firefox have been lost. It is possible for these to be restored? Many thanks Graham

So which device is the main firefox that had the data on it? How and what is stored on your iPhone list isn't some thing firefox has control of and that is between you and Apple to resolve with. When you create a new password anything connected with sync gets deleted from the other devices as a reset since the password was changed and will have to be re-synced again through each firefox login. You internet login/pswd are stored on the original device that they were created on - not on the other device. Sync isn't a backup system as you saw when a password is reset all the data no on original device is deleted.
