So while using FF, I think it was a combination of too many programs opened and too many tabs (and an old potato PC laptop) suddenly the whole display turned black probably because of all those reasons, i waited a min but nothing, so i shut it down manually in order to restart it.

As i re opened firefox i finished the search that caused the "crash" i guess and only later i realized that all my history (an awful lot) is gone. Tried using an old Windows restore point of december but nothing. After i looked up that history is stored in the places.sqlite file i went into the profile folder and found a places.sqlite.corupt file. Does anyone know how can i repair it ?... Pleaseeee help me retrive my history. Thanks a lot.
