"Save as" doesn't work
Hi!
Using "Save link as" or "Save image as" opens the window, where i can choose the folder and the filename. Unfortunately I can't click on any button or type in any text and after some seconds this window and also firefox itself freezes - absolutely no reaction.
This happens only in firefox, not in google chrome or in edge or any other software.
I've already: - restarted windows multiple times - restarted firefox multiple times - started firefox in troubleshoot mode - cleaned firefox - uninstalled and reinstalled firefox - disabled all addins - repaired windows with sfc/scannow
There is absolutely no change in this behaviour. If I get no help, I have to change the browser. I've used firefox for more than 10 years, but it is simply useless if i can't fix that.

Use these links to create a new profile. Use this new profile as is. Is the problem still there?

Let’s do a full clean re-install;
Note: Firefox comes in three or more folders on all computers. They are;
Maintenance: (Programs Folder) <Windows Only> Firefox itself: (Programs Folder) And two folders in the profile of each user on the computer for each Firefox profile for that user.
If you remove the Firefox folder, the user profiles would not be affected.

Save the file. Then Close Firefox.
Using your file browser, open the Programs Folder on your computer.
Windows: C:\Program Files C:\Program Files (x86) Note: Check Both Folders

Do Not remove any profile folders.

I've done what you said - twice. Absolutely no change.
If I analyse the wait chain of the inactive firefox process in the taskmanager it tells me that at least one thread is waiting for network I/O. RAM of that process is permanently increasing.
