I use "Restore previous session" each time I open Firefox. New update, that was auto installed, lacks this option. How do I get it back? KG

被選擇的解決方法

This moved to a sub-menu, either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > History > Restore Previous Session
  • (menu bar) History > Restore Previous Session

Can you find it there?

Also, you can make it automatic using the first section of the Settings/Options/Preferences page.

I am stunned. Got version 89, it was working fine, rebooted my MacBookPro, and all of my history, all of my tabs are just.....gone. No pinned tabs (I have no idea how to recreate them all).

Sorry to hear about this. Did you already try:

  • "3-bar" menu button > History > Restore Previous Session
  • (menu bar) History > Restore Previous Session

If they are missing or grayed, check either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > History > Recently Closed Windows
  • "Library" toolbar button > History > Recently Closed Windows
  • (menu bar) History > Recently Closed Windows

Note: Each window also has its own Recently Closed Tabs list.

Anything there?

Do you recall any profile-related or "Refresh" / "Tuneup" related messages during the update?

Hi daphneokeefe, also, could you make sure you are launching Firefox from the Applications folder and not from the DMG installer file? Usually an update doesn't put a new DMG file on your desktop, but just in case, please review the steps in this article: How to download and install Firefox on Mac

Hi jscher2000

I used the Settings method and all tabs came up next day automatically. Thanks for your fix. K Griffiths
