Images and videos disappear on facebook and some other sites

The problem has occurred a few times in other sites as well but mostly when scrolling or just browsing facebook, the browser stops for a second or two and then all the images and videos of the page disappear. They don't reappear unless reloading the page. I've tried reinstalling, safe mode, and disabling addons. The problem does not seem to occur in safe mode but occurs in normal mode even with all addons disabled.
My version 71.0 CPU: Intel Core i7 6700HQ GPU: nVidia GeForce GTX 960M RAM: 8GB
