I do not want to click the Home icon to get to my home page every time I open Firefox. I do not want to go through the sync process every time.

I do not want to sync every time I open Firefox. I want it to go straight to my home page. I do not want to click the little house icon every time I open Firefox. Is this possible? The numerous extra steps with the new Firefox make it unusable. I also do not want to go through a sync process every time to bring up my bookmark sidebar.
