As of today, I can't open a PDF in Adobe. It is saved to downloads, but it won't open anywhere.

I've tried to open PDFs from a couple of different places/sites, but I can't from Firefox. I logged into Chrome, and I could download them quite easily. This just started today, June 2, 2019. I haven't changed any settings, and everything is up to date. My settings are to open in Adobe Acrobat. Thanks!

Hi lisabro, what is your PDF workflow and where, if anywhere, are the PDFs going?

By default, PDFs would open in a tab in Firefox's PDF Viewer. You normally can switch the behavior on the Options page as described in this article: View PDF files in Firefox or choose another viewer.

Does that work on your Firefox?

Hi jscher2000, I do have my default set to open in Adobe, and I tried fiddling with changing where they open. Still nothing. However, much later in the day, I tried again, and found that it worked. Some of the back-logged things I was trying to open had opened, as well. I'm not sure what changed with Firefox, but it looks like it was a frustrating short-term glitch. Thank you for your response!
