I have noticed a couple of times recently that when I try to Bookmark All Tabs (I usually use Ctrl+Shift+D) it missed some. This may be because I Have been wanting to do it to:

- Open all tabs from Synced Tabs, then bookmark all tabs (because FF Beta for Android has no way to bookmark all tabs (that I can find))

- Reopen tabs I had just sent to OneTab, then bookmark all tabs

Maybe I am hitting Ctrl+Shift+D too soon after I have opened all the tabs. I have been waiting a few seconds to see that the tabs are definitely open, but especially if there are a lot of tabs I want to simply save as bookmarks, and get on with something else, I don't want to have to wait for every page to fully load - that could take ages and how will I know without eyballing everyone. (When I've only just sent them to OneTab, then reopened, why are they not cached but that's a different issue.)

Recently I have been saving all bookmarks, then counting the open tabs vs the new bookmarks. This is a dumb thing to have to do manually.

Presumably the reason it is failing to catch all is due to them not having yet loaded fully or something.

Ideally this can be fixed, but at least if I know what FF needs to successfully bookmark all open tabs (which it does do sometimes even before every single one has fully loaded), I can work around that functional shortcoming.

I'm sharing data, but this has happened on another PC too - much higher spec than this one I'm using today.

Do you have any pinned tabs (pinned tabs aren't included) ?

Duplicate tabs with the same URL are also saved once.

Can't you do a copy and paste in the Bookmarks Manager (Library) or System Details list to move these bookmarks to one of the bookmark root folders (e.g. Bookmarks Menu folder)?

Thanks, @Cor-el.

It wasn't pinned or duplicate tabs that were missing.

Not sure about your question about copying them in Bookmarks manager - it doesn't show synced tabs.

In Bookmarks/History sidebar I can see Synced tabs but I can't select to copy and paste them except one by one.

If there are tabs from the previous session that were restored, but haven't been visited then those tabs might still be in pending state. Tabs opened in the background can also be in pending or suspended state if you use extensions.

Those pending tabs may not be included if you use bookmark all tabs.
