Firefox addons still disabled after 66.0.4 and 67.0b17 builds. When will this be fixed? I have installed both versions from scratch.

It is now Monday May 6th at 10:00pm Mountain Daylight Time and despite claims that Firefox addons are now working again with the 66.0.4 build and the 67.0b17 builds my addons are still disabled. I have uninstalled and re-installed Firefox from scratch for both of these builds on my Windows 10 machine.

Mozilla has been eerily quiet on the issue, so it feels like I am one of the few folks who has not been fixed by one of these builds. When I try to download an extension from the extensions site, Firefox says that the download has failed. These are still not working for me (which is all of them): LastPass Adblock Plus Luminaria ZoomImage

Are there any more suggestions out there to get addons to work again? Is Mozilla still working on a permanent fix? Their blog post has not been updated since May 5th, so it seems like Mozilla considers this issue closed.

By the time I saw the reply about the master password, I had updated to Firefox 66.0.5. This version fixed all of my addon woes. Thank you all for taking the time to answer!

You can check the about:config page for extensions.signer.hotfixed = true to confirm you have the certificate.

Try to rename extensions.json (extensionsOLD.json) and delete previously used extensions files like extensions.ini and extensions.sqlite and rename compatibility.ini (compatibilityOLD.ini) in the Firefox profile folder with Firefox closed to reset the extensions registry.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:preferences page.

My config does not have the extensions.signer.hotfixed entry at all (see screenshot). I'm not sure why a brand new install of Firefox would not have this fix. Any other suggestions?
